A Care visit

We look over the pool, test the water before we change anything, check the equipment, do the surface work for your Care level, watch the water level, and adjust the chemistry from the readings we wrote down. Essential is skim, brush, and chemistry, weekly, every other week, or monthly. We do not vacuum the floor. Signature and Estate add vacuum on the week of service.

Why it matters

Chemistry and equipment change a little every week. A visit on a schedule keeps those changes small, so you can enjoy your pool instead of recovering it after a problem has had time to grow.

What the visit includes

• We arrive and look over the pool, the equipment, and how we get to it.
• We test chlorine or bromine, pH, alkalinity, calcium, and cyanuric acid as the water calls for them, and we write the readings down before we change anything.
• We inspect the equipment. We look, listen, and feel, and we photograph it. On Signature and Estate we also write down how it is performing, so the next visit has something to compare.
• We skim, brush, and empty the skimmer and pump baskets. Signature and Estate also vacuum the floor on the week of service. Essential does not.
• We read the filter pressure and clean or backwash when that visit needs it. Replacing what is inside the filter is its own conversation.
• We watch the water level and arrange a top-off when the pool needs water.
• We adjust the chemistry from the readings we recorded. On Signature and Estate, the chemicals used to balance the water during the season are included. On Essential they are not.
• If a salt system is on the pool, we look at the cell and what it is producing. Replacing the cell is its own conversation.
• We leave notes and photos before we go, and we secure the property.

When to ask for it

Choose a Care level when you want this order on a schedule. Signature runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day, weekly or every other week. Estate is weekly through the swim season, with one extra look in the shoulder season. A visit outside that rhythm is its own visit.
