Spa, features, and other work
Water feature
We clean, open, or close the feature you asked about. A glance during the pool equipment check is not that work.
Why it matters
A feature has its own pump and its own lines. Leaving it inside the pool opening or the pool closing is how it gets missed.
What the visit includes
- On a regular visit, we clean the feature you asked us to clean.
- On its own trip, we do that same cleaning.
- An opening starts the feature, confirms the flow, and checks its equipment. We test chemistry only as it affects that water.
- A closing winterizes the feature and its lines.
- An unusual feature is discussed after we have seen it. We do not guess it from a note.
When to ask for it
Book a feature opening and closing on their own, even when the pool open or close is the same week.

Spa on its own system
Folding a separate spa into the pool opening leaves that system unstarted, or closed wrong. Keeping it separate is how both are done completely.
Phosphate treatment
Phosphates feed growth. Treating them only after a test keeps us from adding product the water does not need.
Metal treatment
Metals stain the surface and the equipment. Treating a number we have not measured is a guess.
Waterline detail
A regular brush keeps the week in order. A built-up waterline needs its own time, and it should be scoped after someone has looked at it.
Cover-system service
A cover that will not travel, or will not seal, is an equipment problem. It needs a look before anyone orders parts.
Pre-sale condition report
A buyer and a seller need a document, not a verbal walk-around. The annual inspection is a different visit. This report does not replace it.
Drain, clean, and acid wash
An acid wash is hard on a pool. Doing it every season, or because the water looked dull for a week, wears the surface for no reason.
