Pool service in Spotsylvania, VA: Tidewater Care, built for your swim season.
Spotsylvania County pools sit on wooded lots, near lakes, and on streets that run from Massaponax to Lee's Hill and out toward Lake Anna. That setting is lovely to swim in, and it is hard on pool water. Leaves, pine needles, and pollen load the skimmers and the filter, and some homes run on well water that changes the chemistry. Tidewater Care looks after the water and the equipment on a schedule that fits your Care level. Every technician is a Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO), and you get notes and photos before we leave.
Why Tidewater Care in Spotsylvania
Spotsylvania is one of three Northern Virginia places Tidewater Care takes care of, with Stafford and Fredericksburg. Whether your pool is near Spotsylvania Courthouse, around Lake Wilderness or Fawn Lake, or in Lee's Hill or Massaponax, the first job is the same: learn the pool before changing it. Lakeside and wooded properties tend to send a steady stream of leaves and pollen into the water, so we look hard at the skimmers, the filter, and the water balance. If your home uses well water, we test for hardness and metals before we treat, because adding product to a number we have not measured is a guess. Each visit ends with notes and photos so you can see what we saw. We take pools in Spotsylvania when we can keep a regular visit schedule, and we will tell you plainly whether we can. Notes and photos also make it easier to compare one month with the next.
Service details
A Care visit. We look over the pool, test the water before we change anything, check the equipment, and do the cleaning for your Care level. Essential Care means skim, brush, and test. Vacuuming is not part of Essential Care. Signature Care and Estate Care vacuum on every visit. Estate Care adds storm check-ins and freeze-night checks.
Water that needs more than a regular visit. A one-time full clean, a green-to-clean recovery, or a chemical-only visit can be booked without a Care level. Green water is living growth, and it can take more than one visit to clear.
Opening and closing. We take the cover off, clear the debris, start the equipment, balance the water, and inspect the equipment in spring. In fall we set the winter water level and chemistry, protect the equipment from a freeze, and close the pool.
Winter watch visits and inspection. Winter watch visits check the cover, the water level under it, and the equipment while the pool is closed. Once a year the inspection reviews the surface, tile, coping, deck edge, and equipment, with photos you can compare later. A filter deep-clean opens the filter and cleans what is inside.
FAQs
Does well water change how you care for a Spotsylvania pool?
It can. Some Spotsylvania homes run on well water, which can raise hardness or carry metals. We test the water first, then treat only what we have measured. Metal and phosphate treatments are separate visits, and we do them only after a test.
What does a wooded or lakeside lot mean for pool care?
Leaves, needles, and pollen reach the water more often under trees and near lakes. That puts more work on the skimmers and the filter. A filter deep-clean opens the filter and cleans what is inside it. Signature Care includes one, and Estate Care includes two.
